The year 1956 was the historical starting point for PT. Maskapai Pelayaran Pulau Laut when it started to provide sea, river transportation service. Pulau Laut business expanded rapidly in two decades, and the company now have and operate a number of Indonesian flag ships.
We achieved good results for our hard work, thanks to three basic conditions we have always hold on to for winning today’s business competition, i.e. :

We fully understand that the most important factors in the business of goods delivery are reliable carriers, independent, rapid, direct, effective and worldwide handling of service to meet customers’ requirements.
With regard to the above, we have experiences in providing delivery services since 1956 with give us a reputation for satisfying most of our customers using our assistance and networks, due to the capabilities of our experienced human resources – both onshore and offshore – who understand the customers’ needs and requirements
PT. Maskapai Pelayaran Pulau Laut has today an established network used for shipping cargoes throughout Asia, and it continues to expand the network to meet the global demand of its customers. We have some experiences in serving main line shipping operators through joint ventures, agencies and representations.
Our inter island services operating general cargo ships calling Jakarta/Balikpapan/Samarinda and other Indonesian main ports regulary.
Others activities are acting as general agent for numerous foreign shipping line.
